It’s been interesting to see what the gene results have shown in relation to what I eat and how my body absorbs various nutrients.

It’s been interesting to see what the gene results have shown in relation to what I eat and how my body absorbs various nutrients.  Having a book to look at, showing the foods I should be consuming, will be very good for me. The most useful thing I learnt from the test was the particular food sources and what I need for my body to function better.

I came on this course because I suffer from terrible nervousness and anxiety in my normal day to day life.  I have a fear of letting people down and am generally very self-conscious.
I am so pleased I completed this course.  I feel the past 6 weeks have taught me how to control my feelings, using the techniques we have learned and I can go away knowing that I can put it all into practice and work on making my own situation better.

I can’t thank Diane enough.  She provided a very relaxing experience and made me realize that I am not alone.

I became more in-tune with how much my anxiety affected me every day and how much stress it can put on our health and relationships.  As each week went by learning more about our thought processes and being mindful, I really felt a sense of calmness in my mind and body.

Diane has such an ease about her and a wealth of knowledge in this area of expertise.  I felt really comfortable before the first session had even finished.

Dear Diane, I wanted to let you know that I am walking on air!!!!!! Since our appointment and new eating regime (for psoriasis) the following has happened:

  • The scabs on my scalp have gone
  • The flaps of my ears have stopped weeping and all scaling has disappeared,
  • The sore and cracking welts where the ears meet the skull have gone
  • My fingernails have reattached to the bed of my nails
  • The redness and lesions on my face have gone
  • The scaling of my scalp has improved to the tune of about 80%
  • I no longer get out of bed shuffling in pain from the psoriatic arthritis
  • I have more energy!!

I had no idea how much improvement may have been possible when I walked out of your office that day and I can't emphasise how grateful I am to have met you and started  using your advise.

Diane helped my mother become pain free for the first time in 20 years of living with an auto-immune disease.

Diane helped my mother become pain free for the first time in 20 years of living with an auto-immune disease. Diane has now helped me stop over eating. The lifestyles Diane has assisted both Mum and I to adopt are entirely different. I really appreciate that Diane has the knowledge to apply different solutions to different problems, the ability to adapt these solutions to suite our personal circumstances, and the sensitivity to help us adopt these solutions at our own pace.
 
I am still on a journey – but already, I feel thankful and indebted to Diane for enabling me to change my experience of food and enabling me to change my life. I no longer have a secret (eating) life. I am looking forward to what else I am going to learn from Diane in the near future.

I saw a Dietitan! Who would believe the changes this guidance made to my life?

I was a client of Diane's last year and I must say seeing Diane was one of the best things I have ever done! About 14 months prior to seeing Diane, I had blood tests to see if gluten was causing my tummy upsets. One of the markers came back positive, so under the guidance of my GP, I immediately went on a gluten free diet and after a couple of weeks, my tummy settled down. I still had tummy issues, headaches and difficulty budging a couple of kilos, so that is why I decided to take the plunge and see a dietitian.

From the series of visits with Diane, I went on a journey of finding out other triggers that were upsetting my tummy, giving me headaches and making it difficult to lose weight. What a journey it has been! Not only am I living a life of eating an abundance of delicious seasonal vegetables, fruits, nuts, seeds, cereals, breads, lean meat, sea food and the odd treat, my husband and three children are being truly nourished by the foods we are eating as a family.

I can honestly say our family food bill has halved with the massive reduction in the processed pre-packaged foods that no longer dominate the pantry (or our lunchboxes)! Eating well certainly doesn't mean spending lots of money. As a 40-year-old mum of three and full-time kindergarten teacher, I have loads of energy and vitality and a most-of-the-time happy tummy. I feel fantastic! My weight is the best it has ever been and best of all, I am not starving myself to achieve it!  

Diane's approach doesn't provide a quick-fix diet that is hard to maintain and is destined to fail. Instead, Diane provides education on nourishing our bodies in the best possible way with REAL food.

The most useful thing in my sessions with Diane, is the knowledge you gain about the actual way we eat and the biological impact food has on your body.

The most useful thing in my sessions with Diane, is the knowledge you gain about the actual way we eat and the biological impact food has on your body.  In addition, understanding the social side, how weight works and the phenomenon of feeling fat. The biggest change this has made in my life is being able to control sugar, learning that it is ok to eat and snack and learning how to recognise when I am hungry.

I loved how practical the course was.

The tools that we were taught were practical and easily included into ones daily routine. It's such a unique course.  It is small,  personal and caters for each individual. The lack of judgement/ open and accepting environment is refreshing.

I’m extremely glad that I attended this course.  I took some convincing and wasn’t sure this course would help me much.  I was wrong!!  I have learnt so many things that can and will empower me for the future.  I would recommend this course to anyone struggling...
